Lora was born and raised here in Lexington, NC. She is the youngest of three children. Her heart was set on sales at a young age, as her dad was in sales and she wanted to be just like him! Lora worked in insurance for 10 years before living the dream of owning her own agency in 1997. Women were rarely given a chance in the business world and Lora wanted to change that!
In 2000, Lora received her CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation. She also attended and completed the Insurance Executive Program awarded to her by Penn National Insurance in 2006. This was a week long intensive management development program designed specifically for independent insurance agency managers.
When not at work, Lora enjoys spending time with her family and often weekends, you will find her at Lazy 5 Ranch. Lora attends Lexington Community Church where her brother is the minister there.
Lora is married to Pepper Younts and they live in Lexington with their three rescue dogs, Andy, a Shih Tzu, Annie*Belle and Zoee, both Miniature Schnauzers.
